A practical map answering the question: is it worth heading to the water today? Each province gets a Fishing Score 0-100, a colour-coded fish icon, a conditions description, the best bite windows and the top 3-5 species most likely to be active given today's weather.

The fish icon and score are always visible on the map; the province name appears on hover or in a popup. Click a region or fish icon to see pressure, 6 h trend, bite window, species ranking and a comment. Your local water body may behave differently.

What is this module for?

This is not just a weather forecast — it's a fish activity forecast.

An angler doesn't just need to know it will be 19°C. More important is whether pressure is stable, whether a front is approaching, whether the wind is pushing food towards the bank, whether light is diffused and whether the water has gone through a sudden change. That's why the map reduces several parameters to one clear result.

Data honesty

Water hydrology and temperature are clearly labelled.

In this version, water temperature is estimated from air temperature and recent weather history. River levels, flow rates and turbidity are not yet connected as a live API, so the module doesn't pretend otherwise. For rivers, it's still worth checking IMGW gauges and local reports.

How to use it

Start with the province colour, then check the popup and your specific spot.

Dark green and green mean conditions are consistent and a trip is worth considering. Yellow requires choosing a better time of day, and red suggests short, cautious attempts at familiar spots. The popup always shows the top 3-5 fish that have the best conditions today according to the weather. Morning and evening windows are most valuable, especially with a slight pressure drop and moderate wind.
